My work explores the tension between growth and decay through layered textured forms inspired by nature in its full, unfiltered state. I am drawn to the ways nature and life blooms, ruptures, decays and regenerates. I am fascinated by textures and processes that are not always conventionally beautiful, such as decomposition and the insistent way life pushes through and reclaims its space.
